Services

What I build for ATAS

Indicator

Indicators and alerts

Lines, zones, signals, volume profiles, session levels. With ATAS alerts and hotkeys if you want them.

Order flow

Footprint, delta, absorption

Logic based on cluster data: delta, imbalance, absorption, volume at price. This is what ATAS is made for.

Strategy

Bots with order management

ATAS ChartStrategy with entry, stop, target, break-even, partial targets, OCO orders and time windows.

Port & fix

Convert, extend, repair

Convert a Pine Script indicator to ATAS, extend existing code or find the bug in it.

Experience

Common pitfalls I handle

These points decide whether an ATAS bot does live what it did in testing.

  1. 01

    Time zones

Since ATAS 8, candles carry the data feed time, not your computer’s clock. Rules with a time of day, such as session start or a news pause, need a clean conversion.

  2. 02

    Recalculation

ATAS recalculates an indicator from scratch whenever a setting changes. Counters and open setups must be reset, or signals appear twice.

  3. 03

    Position sync

A strategy has to take fills and position state from the platform. If it only tracks them internally, stop and target miss after a partial fill.

  4. 04

    Open candle

Signals on the still-forming candle can disappear again. Whether a signal only counts at candle close is fixed in the spec.

  5. 05

    Saved settings

ATAS stores settings per chart. With updates I make sure old values do not silently override new defaults.

A trader’s own absorption logic as an ATAS bot

The client had his entry logic as an indicator. It became an ATAS bot with native absorption detection, a setup panel, stop, target, break-even and two partial targets. A follow-up order for a second strategy variant came next.

Anchored volume profile with a developing POC

Volume profile over a freely anchored range, with a developing point of control, value area (VAH/VAL), alerts and hotkeys.

Fixed-time breakout with OCO orders

At the set time the strategy reads the close of the last candle and places a buy stop above and a sell stop below. One side fills, the other is cancelled, stop and target in ticks, one trade per session. A licence lock was added as a follow-up order.

Stop-and-reverse strategy, dashboard and oscillators

Across several orders: a stop-and-reverse strategy with resting orders and hard safety rules against multiple reversals within one candle, a dashboard strategy, and an indicator that combines Williams %R and comparative strength with a combined signal and alerts.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Indicator or strategy — which do I need?

An indicator draws and alerts; you click yourself. A strategy (ATAS ChartStrategy) sends orders itself through the account connected in ATAS. Many clients start with the indicator and extend it into a strategy later.

Which ATAS version do you build for?

The one you use. Right now that is usually ATAS 8. Before delivery I check that the file matches your version.

Do I get the source code?

Yes: C# source, project file and the ready DLL, plus a short guide to installing it and to every setting.

Can the bot run on a prop firm account?

Technically yes, if the account is connected in ATAS, for example via Rithmic. Whether the firm allows automation we check before the build. More in the guide to prop firm rules.

Can I protect the indicator against sharing?

Yes, optionally with a licence key bound to one machine. Useful if you pass the indicator on to other traders.

Can you convert a TradingView indicator to ATAS?

Yes. First I check which Pine functions have a counterpart in ATAS and where the logic has to be built differently, for example with higher-timeframe data.

Notice: I write software to your specification. This is not investment advice and not a signal service. You alone decide on strategy, sizing and risk. Trading futures, CFDs, forex and crypto is risky and can lead to the loss of your entire capital. Backtests and past results say nothing about future results.

Send me your rules. You get a written spec and a fixed price.

The more precise the rules, the more precise the quote. Open questions get settled before I build, not after.
